
(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A Wisconsin man who disappeared after a work trip to Crystal Lake on Wednesday night has been found dead.
45-year-old Ben Oberto, of New Berlin, had visited 1776 Restaurant on Route 14 in Crystal Lake. He left the restaurant at about 9 p.m.
His wife, Laura, couldn't reach him. His phone last pinged in Rosemont 45 minutes later and then went dead.
She said he told her earlier, he’d be home in time to put their son to bed.

His body was found in his car in Rosemont Friday afternoon. It was overturned in a creek near I-90 and I-294. State Police say it was a single vehicle crash.
