More DePaul students robbed on Lincoln Park campus

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police are investigating more DePaul robberies that happened on the Lincoln Park campus overnight.

Chicago police said the first incident happened near the 2300 block of North Seminary in which an 18-year-old male, an 18-year-old female, and a 16-year-old female were seated when two men approached them around 10:10 p.m.

The men demanded the victims' property and then battered the 16-year-old, according to police. They fled the scene in a silver-colored sedan.

In the second incident, police said a 19-year old male and a 19-year old female were robbed at gunpoint while walking near the 2200 block of North Racine just after 2 a.m.

Four people wearing black exited a silver-colored vehicle and approached the victims. One of the robbers struck the female victim on the head before taking both victims' property.

They fled in the same vehicle southbound.
