CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- There have been more police in Wrigleyville after five men were forced into cars and robbed at gunpoint last weekend.

Besides a large police presence, security guards will walk patrons to ride-shares.

The incidents involving the five men last weekend were the same. They were alone on the street in the early morning. They were confronted by someone with a gun and then forced into a car and robbed before being dropped off.

Kyle Mortimor told CBS 2 one incident occurred outside his apartment.

"Very scary – I mean like, it's happening more and more," he said. "I keep hearing about people just getting picked up."

It’s been the talk of the neighborhood where bars are packed and a lot of people are on the streets.

People are advised not to be out walking alone. It’s unclear whether police have good video from surveillance cameras showing last weekend’s incidents.

There are a lot of cameras and now, more of a sense of security, according to a local bar owner.
