CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A shooting early this morning on the West Side left a 38-year-old man in critical condition.
It was just before 1 a.m. on Roosevelt Road near Kedzie Avenue. Police said shots were fired from a white Dodge Charger. A man who was driving eastbound on Roosevelt was hit multiple times. He crashed his car into a bus stop and then went into a McDonald's restaurant.
Police arrived and gave him first aid before he was taken by a fire department ambulance to Mt. Sinai in critical condition. He was hit in the chest and arm.
The Charger sped away northbound on Kedzie.
Nobody is in custody.
