UPDATE: Nearby shooting death could be connected to Tuesday night's Cicero homicides, police say

CICERO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Cicero police are investigating two shooting deaths Tuesday night and another one this morning that may be related.

A Cicero spokesman said police found a male dead from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Warren Park.

The department is investigating any potential connection to two fatal shootings about a mile from there.

Police said they discovered two women with gunshot wounds at around 7:45 p.m. at a home on 48th Court. They died at the hospital a short time later.

The Medical Examiner said the victims are 29-year-old Jessica Hughes and 19-year-old  Myeshia Newby.

Cicero said that it appeared to be a domestic incident and neither shooting represents an ongoing threat to the public.
