(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — More information has been released about an apparent murder-suicide in Northwest Indiana.
Portage Police received a 911 call Friday evening. The caller said her father was intoxicated and armed.
Operators could hear the man saying everyone in the home was going to die and then the sound of gunfire.
Charles Manville, 45, was later found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His wife, 46-year-old Brandy Manville, was also found shot to death.
A 21-year-old woman was also shot, but survived.
Court records say the wife, who worked in the main office of Portage High School, had filed for divorce and sought a restraining order against her husband.
