CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - CPD detectives are investigating a burglary spree that occurred last night and early this morning on the North Side.
At least nine businesses were hit in a span of about two hours.
Seven along North Lincoln avenue: on the 3800 block, the 4100, 4200 and 4300 and 4500 blocks. They occurred between 11:40 p.m. and 1:50 a.m.
Restaurants, bars and a coffee shop were hit.Most had broken front windows and or doors. Cash registers were targeted.
Police said two were attempted burglaries.
Each incident is under investigation.
