At least 500 rat droppings and almost 50 large flies were among the dozens of violations Gopuff was cited for at its most recent health inspection.
According to the Chicago Data Portal, health inspectors with the Chicago's Department of Public Health’s Food Protection Program failed the Gopuff fulfillment facility, located at 1525 W. Homer St. in Bucktown in its recent health inspection.
That inspection took place on August 11 and was categorized as a Risk 3 (Low).
Inspectors also found dozens of large rodent traps containing hundreds of dead flies, as well as plumbing issues and inadequate maintenance of cooling units.
WBBM has reached out to Gopuff for comment.
