OAK PARK (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Brent Vogt has a problem.

"It's not like crimson, and orange and blue, and purple and black go together very well," the Oak Park building engineer said.

Vogt got his undergraduate degree at Saint John's University in Minnesota, where he played Division III football.  But his advanced degrees come from Alabama, Boise State and Northwestern.  All of which play in the NCAA Tournament Thursday night - with Boise State and Northwestern facing each other.

"I'm gonna wear my gray Boise State hat," he said, "With my purple Northwestern shirt.  And I'll have to find my Alabama socks and just kind of showcase them.  Because if not, I'm going to look like a fashion disaster."

Vogt loves the action of the NCAA Tournament, but he's not a big “bracket guy" - in fact, this year will be only the second time he's ever filled one out. And sorry Northwestern fans, when push came to shove, Vogt had Boise State moving on to round two.
