CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --O’Hare Airport has expanded a mobile ordering program to include all of the terminals.
The name of the app, ORDer, is a play on the O’Hare Airport code, ORD, which is short for Orchard Field, the original name of the airport.
It allows people in any terminal to search, browse, order, and pay for food, beverages, and retail products for express pick-up.
Aside from the convenience, it also helps businesses in the terminals that might not otherwise be discovered by passengers with time to kill, according to the Department of Aviation.
The expansion of the app is being done in partnership with the digital platform Servy, among others.
Jeff Livney Servy’s Chief Experience Officer, said in a statement that “it is important for airports to provide a convenient digital platform” for those who expect such things.
The service is available at ORDerORD.com.
