OJ Simpson's estate to make big payout to Goldman family.

OJ Simpson's estate has agreed to pay Fred Goldman nearly $58 million dollars to settle a claim concerning in the death of Goldman's son Ron. Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were killed in 1994. OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder in a criminal trial, but he was found liable for their deaths in a civil trial.

Fred Goldman filed a civil claim in 2024, originally seeking $117 million in damages. It's unclear whether Simpson's estate has the resources to fully satisfy the claim.

Ron Goldman grew up in Buffalo Grove and attended Stevenson High School.
