(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Aja Evans, an Olympic bobsled medalist, filed a lawsuit Wednesday in which she accused the team's doctor of repeatedly molesting her.

The Chicago native won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2014 Games in Sochi. In her lawsuit, filed in New York, Evans claimed team doctor John Wilhelm began sexually molesting her in 2012.

Evans accused Wilhelm of touching and groping her genitals and groin under the pretense that he was providing medical care.

She also said the doctor took a video of her and her teammates as they were getting undressed at the 2018 Winter Games.

In addition to Wilhelm, Evans is suing the U.S. Olympic Committee and the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation. She said Wilhelm's actions caused her pain and suffering, long-lasting psychological damage, loss of dignity and more.

Wilhelm denied the allegations through an attorney.
