KENOSHA, WIS. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A shooting in Kenosha has left one person dead following an apparent hostage situation.
Police say two people were seriously wounded in the shooting in the 1300-hundred block of 56th street Monday evening.
When officers arrived at the home, they were shot at and returned fire. After discovering there may be hostages, police entered the home. They found two victims inside. One was in serious condition and another in critical. The suspected shooter was dead.
Authorities are continuing to investigate.
