(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The CTA's Orange Line service to and from Chicago Midway International Airport was temporarily disrupted Wednesday afternoon after a man was shot at 25th and Archer Avenue, not far from the line’s Halsted station.
Police say a 44-year-old man was shot in foot. No one is in custody. Service has since resumed.
This comes days after a passenger was killed and a driver injured on a CTA bus.
On Monday, a man in his late 20s was shot and killed on the #29 State Street bus while it was driving through the Bronzeville neighborhood.
The driver was hit in the shoulder and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
