CALUMET PARK (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A portion of outbound I-57 has reopened after a multi-vehicle rollover crash.
According to Illinois State Police (ISP), the accident occurred just south of 127th Street shortly after 5:15 a.m.
There remains little information about the accident, however, ISP said there injuries. Footage from the scene showed a vehicle completely overturned, sitting on top of another car.
As part of their investigation and cleanup, police diverted all outbound traffic at 127th Street. The closure was in place for nearly four hours.
