(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The Chicago Auto Show won’t be the only place to check out some unique rides next month.

A car museum on Chicago’s North Side will be rolling out nearly 100 of its special vehicles at Navy Pier for an inaugural “Retro Rides” exhibition.

“We’re a hidden gem in Chicago. We’re a Chicago car museum that no one really knows about,” says Robert Olson, president of the Klairmont Kollections Automotive Museum.

The selection on the lakefront will include futuristic vehicles to Cadillac classics to, yes, a replica of the Batmobile.

The event runs from Feb. 16 to 22 inside Navy Pier’s festival hall. Olson said organizers are well aware that overlaps the city’s annual auto show.

“By no means is this in competition with another automotive show,” he said.

Rather, the Navy Pier exhibition will complement auto-industry exposition at McCormick Place, Olson said.

Tickets start at $15 for the Navy event, which also includes live music and Chicago-themed eats.
