Gerald may not look like much, as an 8-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua mix, but this little guy has got spunk. And his distinctive snaggletooth makes him a unique pup among the rest.
This intelligent dog loves to play fetch and get belly rubs. Gerald also enjoys exploring the exciting outdoors, and maybe a flower bed or two.
Gerald has not had an easy life. When he was a stray, he was bitten by a mosquito and diagnosed with heartworm disease when he came to PAWS Chicago. Gerald received emergency surgery to survive. Now, this brave boy will make a full recovery and is looking for the perfect forever home to spoil him.
