A private plane has made an emergency landing in the northwest suburbs.
A photo posted on Twitter Thursday evening showed a single-engine plane on its belly in a lawn along Northwest Highway near Quentin Road in Palatine.
The plane was showed signs of damage. No details were available about injuries.
The landing occurred around 6 p.m.
Quentin Road was closed between Colfax Avenue and Northwest Highway, the Chicago Sun-Times reported, citing local officials.
