LAKE COUNTY (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two men are waking up in the Lake County Jail this morning after a police chase that started in Wisconsin Monday.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office said the deputy spotted a Chevy Cavalier registered to a man wanted in Lake County with, what they said, was an “extremely violent criminal history.”
The deputy tried to stop the car near U.S. Highway 45 and County Highway C at around 8:45 a.m. Monday. The sheriff’s office said it sped away.
After a crash at Route 173 near Antioch, deputies arrested 31-year-old Mason Spencer on numerous active warrants and the driver, 32-year-old Raymond Underwood, on fleeing and reckless endangering charges.
A third person in the car was released without charges, while police said someone in the car that Underwood hit suffered minor injuries and also went to jail on outstanding warrants.
