CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago Police are investigating the death of a 3-month-old baby girl who was discovered unresponsive inside an Edgewater Apartment Tuesday morning.
According to Chicago Police, officers found the infant unconscious shortly before 10:30 a.m. at an apartment near Kenmore and Granville. She was transported to Lurie Children's Hospital but later died.
The Cook County Medical's Office has identified the baby as Hazyia Henigan. An autopsy will be performed.
No one is in custody. Area Three detectives are investigating.
Police have provided no other details.
