(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are asking for the public's help in finding and identifying four men who attacked and robbed two women downtown on Friday night in the pedway.
Detectives say the two victims were walking just after 10 p.m. in the pedway tunnel between the Blue and Red Lines on the CTA.
That's when four men surrounded them. Police say the victims tried to walk around the men, but they grabbed a purse from one of them.
When she tried to get it back, one of the men punched her and threw her into a wall.
Police have released surveillance images of the men. All of them are described as being between 25-30 years old.
Anyone with information is asked to call Mass Transit Detectives at 312-745-4447.
