The Cook County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was sexually assaulted by a man she met at a concert at the Aragon Ballroom.
The office says the victim told detectives she accepted a drink from a man at an April 20th show and after a few sips, doesn’t remember anything until the next morning at his home in Palos Hills.
Prosecutors approved criminal sexual assault charges against 36-year-old Timothy O’Connell.
Deathcore bands were playing at the Aragon that night and the sheriff says security cameras show O’Connell carrying the woman as he walked outside the venue.
When detectives arrested him Wednesday, the sheriff’s office says O’Connell admitted to having sex with the victim.
