
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Chicagoans wanting to experience different types of foods that the Windy City is famous for have their last chance to do so on Friday.
The last day of the season for the popular Chicago Food Truck Festival is Friday, Oct. 15 from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. The festival has featured a wide selection of food trucks from around the city at Daley Plaza every Friday from July 3 through Oct. 15.

Friday's line up of food trucks includes Lawrence's Fish & Shrimp, Mr. Quiles specializing in tacos, A.Sweets Girl specializing in cupcakes, and Harold's Chicken known as "the best fried chicken on the South side."
This year marks the 6th year that the Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) has sponsored and organized the Chicago Food Truck Fest.
"The Chicago Food Truck Fest is a great opportunity to support small businesses," states a news release from the city. "Loop workers can enjoy local favorites and Chicago visitors get to find out why Chicago is a culinary capital."
