The Chicago-based restaurant chain is adding a limited-edition Birthday Cake and Cake Shake to mark the one-year anniversary of its customer loyalty program as well as the upcoming 63rd anniversary of Portillo’s original Dog House hot dog stand, which opened in April of 1963.
The birthday cake which is baked fresh daily at the restaurant features two layers with Funfetti rainbow sprinkles, topped with a creamy vanilla frosting and more sprinkles.
The new cake is on the menu through April 6, 2026 and is available by the slice, as a whole cake or blended into a signature Cake Shake.
