(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx has declined to respond to published reports that police were called to her home in Flossmoor for a domestic-related incident.

Foxx's husband, Kelley Foxx, reportedly called 9-1-1 last weekend and claimed his wife slapped him during a fight.

A police report quotes Foxx admitting to putting her hands on her husband to guide him out of their home, but she denied slapping him.

Officers reportedly found no sign of serious injury and no charges were filed.

Foxx’s office released a statement Friday. ”This is a personal family matter. Please provide State's Attorney Foxx and her family with respect and privacy,” it said.
