CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A passenger in a rideshare was shot and killed overnight in Englewood.

Chicago Police said the man was riding in an Uber when he was shot near 69th and Lowe. This happened around 1 a.m.

Early police reports said the shooter was in a dark-colored car.

Paramedics took the victim to the hospital where he died from multiple gunshot wounds. The Uber driver was not injured.

No one is in custody and Area One detectives are investigating.
