CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The roads surrounding Grant Park just cleared up following Chicago's NASCAR weekend, but they started closing once again Wednesday.
It's in preparation for one of the top music festivals in the country. Lollapalooza makes its return to Grant Park from August 3-6.
To get ready, Balbo is closed in both directions between Michigan and Columbus. Later, next week Jackson will close east of Columbus.
Drivers can use Roosevelt or Monroe as an alternate to get around downtown.
