Robbers target people after they leave banks in Little Village

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police said robbers are targeting people after they leave banks.

Police have issued a community alert saying that at least four times over the last two weeks, one or more people have approached victims after conducting business at a bank.

In each incident, the robber would imply they have or displays a gun and takes property from the victim by force.

The robberies happened on the 2300 block of South Whipple Avenue, the 2300 block of South Western Avenue, the 2200 block of South Western Avenue and the 3100 block of West Cermak Avenue.
