ROUND LAKE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The Lake County sheriff said a party in far north suburban Round Lake Sunday morning ended with two guests being robbed and pistol whipped.
The sheriff’s office said two men leaving a party on West Forest Avenue in unincorporated Round Lake were approached by a man with a gun at around 12:30 a.m. He robbed the men and hit both in the head with a pistol, the department said.
A 23-year-old Round Lake man and a 20-year-old from Round Lake Beach were hospitalized with serious injuries.
The sheriff’s office did not disclose what the robber took nor did they offer a description of the suspect.
