WESTERN SPRINGS (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - No one was seriously hurt Thursday morning when a school bus crashed into a house.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Hampton Avenue just south of Ogden. According to a village spokesperson, the driver was trying to avoid hitting an animal when the bus swerved off the road and crashed into a house. No passengers were aboard at the time of the accident.
The house involved only suffered cosmetic damage.
The bus driver was transported to a local hospital for evaluation as a precaution.
