(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A search for a man wanted for an armed robbery prompted police in Lombard and Villa Park to stop Metra trains and close roads Wednesday afternoon.

Lombard police said there was a vehicle pursuit following an armed robbery in another jurisdiction. It ended in a crash on St. Charles Road.

One person was arrested. A second ran. There were multiple police departments involved.

They were looking for a possibly armed man with dreadlocks, a white shirt and black pants, according to police.

Villa Park police later reported that a resident saw someone matching the description. They never found him.

The search included multiple police officers in vehicles, K-9 units, a helicopter and a drone.
