(WBBM NEWSRADIO) —The Carpentersville Police Department has requested the public’s help as it searches for 17-year-old Brissa Romero, who’s been missing since last week.
Police said there have been no sightings of Brissa nor her vehicle since Monday night. An analysis of her social media accounts found no signs of activity since Monday, as well. In an update shared Saturday, officials said she does not have a history of running away from home.
Brissa’s vehicle is a gray, 2008 Nissan Rogue with the Illinois license plate number of CZ64618, officials said. It has a sticker of a black coyote located to the right of the license plate.

According to police, Brissa was last seen on surveillance video while visiting a family member in Des Plaines. Shewas believed to be heading to the Bowlero in Vernon Hills for a work party.
No one at the party reported seeing Brissa, officials said.
Brissa’s family is offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to her safe return. Anyone with information of Brissa’s whereabouts has been asked to contact the Carpentersville Police Department at 847-551-3481.
