
(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A security guard is on the mend after a stabbing that happened during a fight after a high school basketball game in the suburbs.
Skokie police report they were called to Niles North High School on Tuesday night for a report of a large disturbance around 9:30 p.m.
Authorities say that at some point at Niles Township High Schools District 2019 security guard was stabbed.
He was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
School officials say no students were injured or arrested.
It is unclear if any arrests have been made at this point.
