
SOUTH HOLLAND (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 25-year-old worker at a South Holland stone company was crushed to death following a collapse of stone slabs, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled.
Alexander Kush of Oak Forest died Monday morning while working at the Sambor Stone.
According to the Village of South Holland, slabs of granite fell from a container trailer and on to Kush when he and fellow employees were emptying it. Parademics pronounced Kush dead at the scene.
The medical examiner confirmed it to be an accident.
