--Browse through thousands of affordable artworks in Chicago's historic Printer's Row. The annual art fest in the South Loop features dozens of artists. While strolling the show, you’ll see incredible art from painters, street artists, jewelers, up-cycling artists, photographers, woodworkers, sculptors and more.
--The Bud Billiken Parade returns to Chicago's South Side this weekend. The back-to-school event steps off at 45th and King Drive with a festival to follow on Saturday. This is the 94th year for the parade, this year featuring Grammy-award-winning poet J. Ivy as grand marshal.
--Chicago’s longest-running fan and comic convention is back. FAN EXPO Chicago offers four days of fandom at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. This year’s events include a “Back to the Future” reunion and an appearance by “The Fonz” himself, Henry Winkler.
--Treat your ears to two days of nonstop house music in the city that created the genre. My House Music Festival takes place in the heart of Pilsen at Harrison Park featuring more than a dozen local producers and DJs.
--Celebrate Japanese culture and craftsmanship at the annual Ginza Holiday Festival in Old Town. Hosted at the Midwest Buddhist Temple, the weekend of handmade crafts, food and entertainment has become a staple of Chicago’s summer calendar.
--And immerse yourself in Indian heritage during the India Day Celebration in west suburban Naperville. Considered one of the largest Indian American festivals in the country, Sunday's event includes a parade, classical and modern dances, food vendors and a free Bollywood concert.
