CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 39-year-old Danville man is set to appear in court Wednesday in connection with the stabbing of a man on the Magnificent Mile over the weekend.
Chicago police officers arrested Alaxstair Reed Sunday evening, moments after they say he stabbed a 52-year-old man in the neck.
The victim said Reed tried to rob him as he walked on Michigan Avenue near Superior.
Reed faces one count each of aggravated battery and attempted first-degree murder.
