Teen boy missing from Garfield Ridge

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 16-year-old boy has been reported missing from Garfield Ridge on the West Side.

Jontae Common was last seen Tuesday and has been report missing from the 5800 block of South Narragansett Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.

Common is 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and has a medium-brown complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with “The Simpson’s” characters on it, a jean jacket, red sweatpants, and Nike Air Max sneakers.

He is believed to be carrying a Coach fanny pack and a black The North Face backpack, police said.
