CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A 15-year-old boy has been charged for last weekend's robbery and beating on a CTA train.

It happened Saturday on a Blue Line train at about 1:30 p.m.

It was at or approaching the Racine stop when the five, according to police, approached another passenger. At least one displayed a gun, and they demanded property.

Police said they then beat and kicked the victim and stole his shoes.

No word what the shoes were.

Images of the five from a CTA surveillance camera are pretty clear, showing their faces.

The 15-year-old boy has been charged with armed robbery as well as aggravated battery.

Police continue to search for the four other suspects believed to be involved.
