CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A teenager is dead and another is injured after a shooting on the Southwest Side Sunday night.
Chicago police say a 17-year-old boy died in the shooting that happened near 56th and Maplewood in the Gage Park neighborhood.
Shortly before 9 p.m., the boy and a 14-year old girl were outside walking when two men shot them and fled the scene.
The boy had multiple gunshot wounds on his body and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The girl had a graze wound to her leg and head and was taken to the hospital in good condition.
No one is in custody and police are investigating.
