
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police are looking for whoever shot two teen girls Monday night, killing one in Englewood.
Police said a group of kids was gathered in the street near 72nd and Eggleston, near Hamilton Park shortly after 10 p.m. when someone started shooting.
A 16-year-old girl was hit in the back and taken to the hospital where she died soon after. A 15-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to the arm and was taken to the hospital in good condition.
While indicating there was more than one gunman, police have not shared any other details or descriptions of those responsible as they investigate.
No one is in custody as area one detectives are investigating.
