(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A south suburban teenager has been charged in the alleged theft of dozens of weapons earlier this week from Eagle Gun Range in Oak Forest.
Oak Forest police arrested a 15-year-old from Hazel Crest on Wednesday.
They claimed he was part of a group that used their vehicle as a battering ram to break into the gun range on West 159th Street earlier on Monday.
The gun range had 28 guns and ammunition stolen in the incident. The crime was captured on camera, and the suspects were all wearing stocking caps and masks.
Authorities said the investigation is still ongoing.
