CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Bally's Chicago Casino has unlocked its front doors for the last time.
The company's temporary River North casino, located in the former Medinah Temple, will now be open for 24 hours every day of the week.
Since opening in early September as a three-level casino, it had been operating for 20 hours per day.
Bally's permanent casino is slated to move into its River West location near Goose Island sometime in 2026.
The temporary location will funnel tax revenue to the City and the State while Bally's builds its permanent casino.
