CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Temperatures are expected to creep back into the low 20s on Monday, with the potential for another inch or two of snow.

Still, the conditions will seem comparatively warmer to the double-digit, below-zero wind chills that seized up the region late last week.

The National Weather Service in Chicago predicts highs of 18 to 23 degrees on Monday, with snow possible, especially for Northwest Indiana. The low could drop to 1 below zero.

But temperatures are expected to keep climbing and reach the mid-50s by Thursday. Rain is possible.
