Hyde Park Jazz Festival: Sept. 24-25
There are festivals for everyone this weekend! The Hyde Park Jazz Fest takes center stage as it returns to venues throughout the neighborhood. This year’s free showcase includes performances from the Charles McPherson Quintet, electric guitarist Jeff Parker and DJ Sadie Woods.
Chicago Gourmet: Sept. 22-25
Go gourmet with a series of unique dining events throughout Chicago’s neighborhoods. Chicago Gourmet returns with a four-day lineup of events, including the always popular Hamburger Hop on Sept. 23 and Grand Cru on the Harris Theater Rooftop on Sept. 24.
