(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police have a person in custody after vandalism at a Lincoln Park bank overnight.
Witnesses alerted police officers on patrol shortly after midnight that three people had damaged a Citibank on Halsted Street near Armitage Avenue. The police department said when they arrived, they saw a broken window and profanity spray painted on the bank.
Officers caught one of three people who ran from the scene. A 56-year-old man was taken into custody. Paramedics brought him to the hospital for observation. He was listed as being in good condition.
The other two suspects were not caught.
