(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Henyard called out trustees who boycotted a board meeting Tuesday night.
She said everyone needs to work together to get things done, but added she's coming for her critics.
Henyard spoke live for nearly an hour on social media, essentially calling for a truce and promoting unity.
She’s been at odds with trustees who question her spending, self-promotion, lack of transparency and more.
She said she’s going after her critics.
“When I sue everybody, because I’m coming, no, I’m coming for defending my name, defaming my character in this conspiracy to try and destroy Tiffany Henyard. I will come for everyone, know that, this is facts, this is not fiction,” Henyard said.
Henyard, who was appointed township supervisor, is running to keep the seat. She’s also running for re-election as mayor of Dolton, where she faces similar issues with a majority of the trustees.
She said she’ll win both by a landslide.
