Starting January 1, visitors who want to park at the venue during concerts will have to purchase a parking pass. It's the first time the theater has added parking fees since it opened in 1990.
According to Live Nation, general parking will cost $20 per vehicle if customers pay online in advance or $25 per vehicle if paid on the event date. Premier parking spots closer to the venue cost $50 online.
The news was met with complaints from people online, many of them expressing safety concerns about the condition of the lot. Others were worried about the availability of accessible parking, as the parking lots closer to the venue are more expensive.
Some said that introducing parking fees could make the theater a less desirable venue, as it's known for being one of the the more affordable venues in the area.
