Two in critical condition after CTA bus collides with pole

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --Two people are in critical condition after a CTA bus crashed into a pole Wednesday.

In a statement to WBBM, CTA said that at approximately 9:20 a.m., a bus collided with a pole at the Pulaski Orange Line station. There were approximately 20 people on the bus.

Eleven people were taken to the hospital. Two individuals were in critical condition, one in fair condition and eight in good condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

CTA is investigating the cause of the incident.
