It happened near 65th and Hermitage in Chicago's West Englewood neighborhood just before one in the morning.
Chicago police say three people were standing outside a home when a white SUV drove up and a person inside the vehicle opened fire.
The SUV fled the scene northbound down Hermitage.
Police say a 26-year-old woman sustained gunshot wounds to her body, a 30-year-old man was shot in the head and later died at the hospital and a 31-year-old man was shot in the chest and also died.
Area One Detectives are investigating.
