(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Police and the FBI are trying to find the men who robbed two southwest suburban banks Tuesday afternoon within a half hour of each other.
The bank robberies happened in Oak Lawn and Western Springs between 2:30-3:00 p.m. Oak Lawn police said that a man about 40-50 years old who had facial hair and was wearing a wig and holding a semi-automatic handgun demanded money from a teller at the Chase branch in the 5700 block of West 95th Street.
The FBI said that 25 minutes later, another man wearing a baseball cap walked into the FNBC Bank branch on Burlington Avenue in Western Springs. He did not show nor imply he had a gun, but he robbed the place and left.
